ALL ABOUT BANKSY Rome, May 5, 2021 – January 9, 2022.

Chiostro del Bramante presents ALL ABOUT BANKSY: in Rome, from May 5, 2021 to January 9, 2022, a new exhibition to learn everything there is to know about the world’s best-known unknown artist, thanks to about 250 works from private collections.

“Find out who Banksy is, approach him, get to know him, and recognize him. Given the impossibility of staying open during our first exhibition, A Visual Protest (September 2020 – March 2021), we made a concerted effort to ensure that the public was not disappointed and that Banksy was not left out. This is how the idea for a second exhibition, dedicated to the artist and his works, was born.

Banksy can’t stop people talking about him. From his most recent work on the walls of Reading prison (UK), where Oscar Wilde was imprisoned, to the millionaire auction to support the British health system, with the work Game Changer selling for 16.75 million pounds.

As a result, Chiostro del Bramante can’t get enough of Banksy’s work and, with this new exhibition, provides an encyclopedic overview of his work, thanks to a substantial documentary section that includes photographs, reports, and videos. We are offering a new opportunity to exhibit the work in the heart of Rome, in a Renaissance building.

ALL ABOUT BANKSY is organized by DART Chiostro del Bramante in collaboration with Butterfly Art News curated by Butterfly Art News & David Chaumet under the patronage of Regione Lazio and Assessorato Crescita Culturale Roma Capitale media partner Sky Arte. The exhibition is accessible in respect and according to the regulations for the containment of Covid-19.
