Day 2: Vatican and Piazza Navona

You can catch a train from the Porta San Paolo station and be there in just 35 minutes. Take your time exploring the ruins and be sure to stop for lunch in town too.
If you’re staying in the city itself, there are plenty of churches and cathedrals to check out like Sant’Ignazio or San Clemente. And don’t forget about the palaces like the Palazzo Doria Pamphilj or the museums like the MAXXI or MACRO.
